I am very drunk right now, but I should probably tell you that my mother’s twin sister emailed me and invited me to dinner with my mother on Saturday night while she is in the state (in a nearby town). I guess you can figure out why I am drunk … like, room spinning drunk. I told her thanks for the invitation but we will be out of the state next weekend. Thank God I am leaving the state on Friday! No word back from the aunt yet.

I follow your posts because -though I’ve never been physically abused by my mother- her behaviour did me harm. (I wrote longer about myself in a recent comment to your ‘Yearning for a Mother after Mother-Daughter Sexual Abuse’ article.)
As for me and Mothers’ Day… I took a deep breath and invited my mother here to spend a part of this special day together with me and my mate… but she turn it off with one single sentence. In our relation it’s me who’s tolerating and trying again and again… but today I ask myself again: why do I still do this??…
Anyway, be strong dear and open up to reality which is, despite every phantom and shadow we create -and I’ve had many myself-, is a gentle and loving one. Personally the teachings of Kryon (Lee Carroll) help me a lot these times, whether they are “real” or not
