Hi, everyone.
I hate to do it, but I am going to have to take this week off from Blooming Lotus. I have one more week to go of crazy hours with my new job, and now my “old” job is starting up again, too. I will be putting in well over 40 hours this week between the two part-time jobs, so I won’t have any spare time to blog.

I was just thinking last night (having noted your earlier post about this being a v busy time for you), how do you do so much – work, parenting, this blog – and maintain your levels of wellness? So glad you are taking a break! Your blog has helped me so much over last couple of months, Faith, have been through such a lot and I really am so grateful and wonder if – when you have less commitments – you ever thought of writing a book, maybe with a prologue by an ‘expert’ – survivors really need this kind of book. Yes, I have tossed around the idea of writing a book, but it never seems to be the right time. I think I will know it when the time is right.
I have worked hard to try to achieve a healthy balance of work and rest in my life, but that all went out the window when I started training for this new job in March and then started working a couple of weeks ago. This is a teaching/tutoring job preparing students for a standardized test that is only offered a few times a year, so the job will ebb and flow throughout the year. I have been slammed for two weeks (and going into a third week of being very busy). Then, I might not have ANY work for this company during the summer (or just light work) until the next standardized test date rolls around.
Both of my part-time jobs are flexible positions, which enables me to offer my child the benefits of a stay-at-home mom while still working. They also enable me to blog. It was just bad timing for both jobs to give me work during the same week (this coming week). If not for that, I could have continued blogging this week. :0)
